Nancy Terhaar is a certified McGown teacher and has been rug hooking for 14 years. She loves all styles of rug hooking, and can assist with projects from primitive to fine shading; e.g. faces, flowers, fruit, etc., and can help you finish it all. Nancy has written articles for the ATHA Newsletter and served as the ATHA Region XI Treasurer for six years, 2009-2014. She demonstrates rug hooking at various venues in Oregon and loves to attend the ATHA Biennials, participating in workshops with teachers from around the U.S. And the world. She’s a firm believer in life-long learning. Nancy teaches rug hooking classes, both in group settings and for individuals. She and Chris Ward enjoy team teaching together at Friends By The Sea.
